Split Review

(Poster Source: Wikipedia ) I think it’s safe to say that M. Night Shyamalan has had some rough patches in the past 15 years or so. While his earlier films were largely successful, once he released The Village back in 2004, moviegoers began to feel that he had lost his touch. But what I will say is that my top 5 films are all very special works of entertainment. Beyond simply being quality cinematic works, these have touched me on a personal level—at least much more so than the others. I know that many others loved the films I have chosen. Even so, I hope that I can still spread some awareness to my readers about these particular picks. Without further ado, here are picks #5-2 for my top 10 films of 2016. #5 — Captain America: Civil War (The Russo Brothers) Yes, I understand that this film has plot holes and some ridiculous moments. But in the grand scheme of things, doesn’t every single big blockbuster have script issues like those—even the “great” ones? In the case of Civil War , I find the nitpicking to be easy criticisms when there are otherwise so many great el...
