Why You Should Support Cry Wolf

Image
This blog has covered a variety of topics: film, video games, religion, politics, you name it. But for whatever reason, it’s never been a place for discussing board games. I do indeed love that particular activity, but even so, my writings have not really given much attention to them. This particular post will change that for good, though. After all, board, card, and tabletop gaming encompass a hobby that is worthwhile and entertaining on its own terms. Additionally, I suspect that creating a memorable game with a clever niche and replay value isn't a picnic. Therefore, it's noteworthy once such a product does come along. That’s why I want to lend some attention to a new card game called Cry Wolf. In the spirit of the recent “Why You Should Support” post which I wrote for Reign of Judges: Title of Liberty , this will be a short summary of why the game deserves enough of a following to get funded and subsequently put into production. BlacKkKlansman Review

(Poster Source: IMDb ) Even though BlacKkKlansman marks the first time that I have taken in a Spike Lee joint, it didn’t take much for me to realize that you can’t separate this filmmaker from politics. He’s about as vocal of an artist as anyone, and people know it since Lee has established that reputation for himself. But I don’t mean this as a bad thing, for unlike many, I feel that political issues need to be dealt with one way or another. It just so happens that the movies o...

Top 10 Most Necessary Accessories for Nintendo Switch

Image
Every time that a new video game console is launched, vast amounts of companies jump on the opportunity to make bank of it. Basically nobody can have gaming as a hobby without accessories for their console(s), and companies know this. They will do everything in their power to create products that are useful, beneficial, or just fun for gamers to have. But the fact is that a lot of them seem unnecessary. Some don’t even function all that well to begin with. Whether or not this is a result of rushing products onto store shelves, it doesn’t matter; the problem is that video game accessories often constitute a saturated market. You can only imagine how clueless non-gamer parents get when they’re shopping for video game-related gifts for their kids, only to feel silly when what they bought is impractical or malfunctional. That is why I wanted to intervene and offer some solid consumer advice with this post — specifically with regards to the Nintendo Switch. (Photo Source: Amaz...
